The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority (RITBA) published a travel advisory for the Newport Pell Bridge today.

According to RITBA, the westbound off-ramp to East Shore Road (located just after the RITBA offices) will be closed on Tuesday, December 10 from 6 am to 3 pm, with an inclement weather date of Wednesday, December 11.

“The work involves installing drainage structures and pipes across the ramp. The work cannot be done at night,” RITBA says.

According to RITBA, detour signs will be posted to keep truck traffic off of Jamestown’s residential roads.
