About The Heritage Restaurant Group:

The Heritage Restaurant Group is dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences across its portfolio of restaurants. With a focus on quality ingredients and outstanding service, the group is committed to supporting local communities and fostering culinary excellence.

The acquisition adds to Heritage’s growing and significant presence in Newport’s hospitality sector. Heritage, which shares ownership with Audrain Auto Museum and Audrain Hospitality, now boasts a portfolio of at least 19 businesses across the area.

The next largest restaurant group, employee-owned Newport Restaurant Group, operates nine restaurants in Newport County: 22 Bowen’s, Aurelia at Castle Hill, Bar ‘Cino, Boat House Restaurant, Castle Hill Inn, Foodlove Market, La Vecina Taqueria, The Mooring, and Smoke House.

Despite Heritage Restaurant Group’s growing influence, obtaining comprehensive information about its operations remains challenging. Heritage has consistently declined to share press releases or respond to inquiries from What’sUpNewp.

This lack of transparency has led to difficulties in fully understanding the extent of Heritage’s holdings, which are managed through various operating LLCs.

As Heritage continues to grow its presence in Newport, questions arise about the impact on the local culinary scene. Consolidating multiple establishments under one umbrella could potentially influence menu offerings, pricing, and the overall dining experience in the city.

As Newport’s restaurant landscape evolves, the Heritage Restaurant Group’s expanding portfolio positions it as a significant player in shaping the city’s future.

What’sUpNewp has contacted Heritage Restaurant Group for comment.
