Rogers High School will take on Tiverton High School in a Thanksgiving Day Football game a day earlier than scheduled.

The game has been moved from 10:15 a.m. on Thursday to 5 p.m. on Wednesday due to the inclement weather forecast for Thanksgiving in Newport.

The game will take place at Toppa Field in Newport.

Newport Public Schools shared the announcement on Tuesday at 4:07 pm saying, “Due to inclement weather, Thursday’s Thanksgiving Day Football Game against Tiverton High School has been rescheduled to WEDNESDAY, November 27 at 5 pm at Toppa Field”.
