The Puddingstone music series closes the 2024 season in December with a holiday “Yuletide Melodies” performance at Provence sur Mer.

This holiday caroling extravaganza will be co-hosted and sponsored by Provence Sur Mer. Join Puddingstone for a delightful evening featuring award-winning soprano Olha Abakumova and our very own founder & concert pianist, Clemens Teufel, as they serenade you with a selection of handpicked carols designed for both enjoyment and merriment.
Of special note, this marks Clemens’s inaugural performance on the brand-new Yamaha baby grand piano at Provence Sur Mer, freshly acquired from the esteemed Larry Brown’s Piano Store, Luca Music.
Prepare for a festive atmosphere complete with a cash bar, graciously provided by Bow Bar, and cookies to toast the season. Plus, you’ll have the chance to unleash your inner virtuoso during the last few sing-along numbers. Join us for an evening of music, cheer, and holiday spirit! About the artists:
Olha Abakumova is a lyric coloratura soprano, and was born in the Chernihiv region of northern Ukraine. She has adjudicated several prestigious vocal competitions, and has sung several major opera roles. Since her arrival in the United States, Mrs. Abakumova has performed at Boston’s City Hall Plaza, Boston College, and at the Harvard Musical Association.
Clemens Teufel is the founder of the Puddingstone music series. Described by the press as a “incredibly sensitive playing” and “red-hot German pianist”, Clemens Teufel has performed concerts throughout Europe, the United States and Asia including venues such as the Old Opera House Frankfurt, Germany, Rockport Music’s Shalin Liu Performance Center, USA, Cité des Arts in Paris, France and the Beijing Conservatory in China as well as at several festivals including the International Burgos Music Festival in Spain, the Holzhauser Musiktage and the Easter Festival in Bayreuth, Germany as well as the Newport Music Festival and the Summit Music Festvial in New York, USA.
