People’s Credit Union has announced the promotion of Christie Jencks to Head of Commercial Lending, effective November 26, 2024.
In this role, Jencks will oversee the growth and management of People’s Credit Union’s commercial loan portfolio. She will be responsible for business development, as well as operational aspects of the portfolio, including credit analysis and relationship reviews.
Jencks has a wealth of experience in financial services and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining People’s Credit Union in 2022, she held positions in branch management, relationship management, and business development at Citizens Bank, Digital Federal Credit Union, and Chase Bank.
Jencks is a graduate of Rhode Island College. She will report to the Head of Lending at People’s Credit Union’s Middletown, RI headquarters.
