Just in time for the holiday season, Save The Bay’s Artists for the Bay Sale has announced the launch of its annual virtual fundraiser, Artists for the Bay, which showcases local art and supports coastal conservation.

The online art sale will run from November 15 through December 31, 2024. In celebration of Narragansett Bay’s beauty and in support of the nonprofit organization’s mission to protect and improve it, over 20 local artists have committed to contributing 25 percent or more of select holiday sale proceeds to this annual fundraiser.

“Art has the power to connect us with the beauty of the natural world,” says Save The Bay Events Manager Leanne Danielsen.

With Artists for The Bay, each participating artist has agreed to donate a minimum of 25 percent of the proceeds of select pieces back to Save The Bay’s mission-based work, many motivated by a desire to give back to an organization that helps protect the source of their inspiration: Narragansett Bay. Every dollar brings us closer to a cleaner, healthier Bay for all.

“Without a doubt, we wanted to be part of this venture to contribute financially to the efforts of Save The Bay in preserving our beloved Narragansett Bay,” said Paule Lefraire-Khoury, owner of La Beaute Sauvera Le Monde Art Club.

Jessie Jewels of Jessie Jewels Art added, “I support Artists for the Bay because of the amazing work Save The Bay does for our local waterways and wildlife. I grew up swimming in the Bay and now live just a few blocks away. I have seen how poor drainage and waste affect our Bay and want to be part of the solution.”

Information regarding each artist’s promotions and their website links are available on Save The Bay’s website at savebay.org/art. The Artists for The Bay sale takes place from November 15 – December 31, 2024.
