The Shops at Long Wharf Mall will kick off the holiday season in style on Nov. 30 with a tree-lighting ceremony and an appearance by Santa.

From 4 to 6 pm, visitors can enjoy the dazzling display as the Long Wharf Christmas Tree lights up the night. Santa and his helper will be on hand for photos, adding a touch of magic to the evening.

At Cutie Curls, kids can get creative with holiday-themed activities, including crafting decorations and writing their wish lists for Santa.

The Thompson Middle School chorus will set the mood with festive songs, while Yagi Noodles keeps everyone warm with free hot chocolate and coffee.

Look out for the snow ladies handing out candy canes to sweeten the experience.

The big moment – the tree lighting – happens at 4:30 pm. Shops will stay open until 7 pm, giving everyone ample time to start their holiday shopping.

This community event is made possible thanks to sponsors Newport in Bloom, Discover Newport, and the Shops at Long Wharf.
