Today, Governor Dan McKee and First Lady Susan McKee issued the following statement wishing Rhode Islanders a happy Thanksgiving:
“This is the time of year when many of us gather with family and friends to give thanks and look ahead at what’s to come.
Every single day, we are thankful for the hard work and spirit of Rhode Islanders — and we remain confident in our shared progress and momentum.
As we express our gratitude, let’s also take a moment to show our deepest appreciation to those serving in our military. And let’s recommit to doing what Rhode Islanders do best – extending a hand to fellow residents in need.
