Six-time Grammy winner Jason Isbell is coming to the Providence Performing Arts Center on Feb. 18, 2025, as part of his upcoming solo tour. Tickets will be available for purchase this Friday, October 25, 2024 at 10 am.

The tour, titled “An Intimate Evening with Jason Isbell,” kicks off Feb. 15 and will also make stops at iconic theaters in Chicago, New York City, Atlanta, Los Angeles and more before concluding with a four-night stint at The Pinnacle in Nashville.

Isbell, known for his heartfelt and sometimes brutal honesty in his songwriting, released his latest album, “Live From The Ryman Vol. 2,” earlier this month. The album Live From The Ryman Vol. 2 features recordings from four of the last six years of sold-out shows at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium.

This year, Isbell and his band, the 400 Unit, won two Grammy Awards for their 2023 album “Weathervanes,” including Best Americana Album and Best American Roots Song for “Cast Iron Skillet.” Isbell first broke through in 2013 with the release of “Southeastern,” which is now considered a classic. His next two albums, “Something More Than Free” and “The Nashville Sound,” also won Grammy Awards for Best Americana Album and Best American Roots Song.

Tickets for Isbell’s Providence show can be purchased online at ppacri.org, by phone at 401.421. ARTS (2787) tickets can be purchased at the PPAC Box Office, located at 220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence.
