The Town of Middletown is preparing for its 15th annual Family Day celebration on September 28, 2024. This free event, hosted by the Middletown Prevention Coalition and Middletown Public Library, will feature a bounce house, rock climbing wall, face painting, touch-a-truck, music, and more.

“Every year, it keeps getting better and better,” Middletown Prevention Coalition Director Lori Verderosa said. “Family Day is a great way for people from the community to get together, have a good time, and promote healthy lifestyles.”

“We’re happy at the Middletown Public Library to be part of Family Day this year,” library Director Kimberly Usselman said. “It’s a great way to promote all the positive we do in Middletown and I know Lori and I want to thank our sponsors and everyone for helping out this year. None of this would be possible without Saccucci’s Honda and the Friends of the Middletown Public Library.”

The event will take place from 4 to 8 pm.at Second Beach, located at 315 Sachuest Point Road. If necessary, a rain date is scheduled for September 29.
