Giusto, in collaboration with The Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival, will host a “Passport to Piedmont Wine Dinner” at on Friday, September 20.
Giusto will host winemaker Giovanni Rosso, a renowned producer of Barolo, Nebbiolo and Etna wines. This family style, multi-course Piedmont-inspired menu will be paired with six Giovanni Rosso wines and Giovanni will be at Giusto that night to share more about the wines with guests.
The menu for the event;
- First Course: Three Piedmont-inspired antipasti
- Second Course: Tuna crudo – lardo, rosemary, pickled mushrooms, mugolgio
- Third Course: Agnolotti del plin – rabbit, parmesan, fresh black truffles
- Fourth Course: Piedmontese NY Strip with summer vegetables, bone marrow
- Dessert: Hazelnut Bonet with dark chocolate and huckleberry
