Ocean State Brewers Fest a hit at Farm Fresh Rhode Island

The 2024 Ocean State Brewers Fest brought over three dozen Rhode Island breweries to Farm Fresh Rhode Island in Providence on Saturday, August 10 for a celebration of local beer and the breweries that provide it.

Sponsored by the Rhode Island Brewers Guild and BrewBox, a local beer delivery service, the event saw hundreds of enthusiasts sampling locally brewed beers, seltzers, and ciders along with the opportunity to meet owners and staff of local brewhouses.

“The theme is exclusively Rhode Island brewers all under one roof,” said Nils Weldy, Executive Director of the RI Brewers Guild. “Breweries were asked to bring a beer that they opened with, or a fun throwback.”

Attending breweries included: Apponaug Brewing Company, Bravo Brewing Company, Buttonwoods Brewery, chair 2 light beer, Foolproof Brewing Company, Grey Sail Brewing of Rhode Island, Hive Beer, Johnson & Wales University, Long Live Beerworks, Moniker Brewery, Narragansett Beer, Newport Craft Brewing and Distilling, Origin Beer Project, Phantom Farms Brewing, Pivotal Brewing Company, Proclamation, Providence Brewing, Ragged Island Brewing Company, Shaidzon Beer Company, Smug Brewing Company, Tapped Apple Cidery & Winery, Taproot Brewing Co., The Guild Brewing Co, Tilted Barn Brewery, Tower Hill Brewing Company, Trinity Brewhouse, Union Station Brewery, Vigilant Brewing, and Whalers Brewing Company.
