Eligible voters across Rhode Island have until 8 p.m. on April 2 to cast their ballots in the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election. The Rhode Island Department of State said early voting continues today through 4 p.m.

Voters can return their mail ballots by mail, in person at their local polling place, or at the Board of Elections office. The Board of Elections must receive all mail ballots by 8 p.m. on April 2. To find your polling place, visit vote.ri.gov.

Eligible voters can also register to vote, check their registration status, or learn more about elections in Rhode Island at vote.ri.gov. The Rhode Island Department of State does not report election results, but voter turnout information is available on the website.

Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day, with the exception of New Shoreham, where polls will open at 12 p.m. For more information about voter turnout and other election-related information, visit vote.ri.gov.

RI Department of State Issues Final Voting Reminders for Presidential Preference Primary

Secretary of State Gregg M. Amore and the RI Department of State Elections Division are today issuing final reminders for eligible voters who wish to participate in the Presidential Preference Primary taking place tomorrow, April 2, 2024.

Early voting continues today through 4 p.m. Eligible voters can find their early voting location online at vote.ri.gov or by contacting their local board of canvassers.

All mail ballots must be received by the Board of Elections by 8 p.m. on April 2. Mail ballots can be returned in any secure elections drop box, at the Board of Elections, at your local board of canvassers’ office, or in-person at a polling place on Election Day.

Polling places will be open tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., with the exception of New Shoreham, where polls will open at 12 p.m. Voters can find their Election Day polling place by looking up their voting record online here.

The RI Department of State does not report election results, but information about voter turnout is available on vote.ri.gov.
