People’s Credit Union has announced a $750 donation to support the Portsmouth Little League’s Sherman Field in an effort to provide lights for the field’s 340 participants and their families.
The lights will help the Little League extend its field days and nights, as many children and families go to the field after sundown.
Courtney Hunter, Head of Community Development for People’s Credit Union, said, “Little League is such a memorable experience for children growing up and Portsmouth does a great job involving as many kids and their families as possible. People’s Credit Union is happy to support the field lights campaign so everyone can have extended playing time during the league’s seasons.”
Registration for the 2024 Portsmouth Little League season is open until March 15.
