A gallon of regular gas was $3.40 on average Tuesday, February 21, according to AAA. Stacker compiled statistics on gas prices in Providence-Fall River-Warwick (RI only) metro area using data from AAA. Gas prices are current as of February 21. State gas tax data is from World Population Review.
GasBuddy analyst Patrick De Haan said this week that further interest rate hikes by the Federal Reserve could lead to more economic stress and may “weaken demand as we head into the peak summer driving season.”
