The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce will host the first event in its newest educational series, followed by the announcement of a partnership with Healthsource RI, on Tuesday, November 19th at 8:30 a.m. at Innovate Newport, 513 Broadway, Newport, RI 02840 with a press conference to follow at 10a.m.

HealthSource RI connects small businesses to high quality health and dental insurance coverage and offers small businesses with 2-50 employees a wide range of health insurance plans from the state’s top insurance companies. Healthsource RI supports businesses and their owners at every stage, from start-up through maturity. In addition to this seminar, the Chamber is proud to partner with Healthsource RI in offering staffed office hours to Chamber membership with Healthsource RI, twice per month at the Chamber’s location at Innovate Newport.

“The Ask the Expert Series will be an excellent opportunity for local small businesses to get professional advice on their pending questions related to all the business essentials…health insurance, legal, accounting, financial, marketing, real estate topics and more” says Erin Donovan-Boyle, Executive Director of the Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce. “The structure of these workshops is meant to meet the needs of the individual professional; rather than predetermining the content of what we think individuals want to learn about, this aims to be a responsive program specifically focused on answering the questions you have.  We are confident that this will be a tremendous resource, particularly for our small businesses and we are thrilled to kick off the series on the topic of health insurance, during open enrollment” she added.
