Tony Venetucci and Lisa Abadie, a sibling design duo, recently opened AV Home Collection at 493 Broadway in Newport.
Previously, Tony had owned and operated Venetucci Home on Bellevue Avenue, an elegant, eclectic assortment of home furnishings and accessories in a comfortable retail setting. When he was offered the challenge of designing a collection for A&B Home, a leading furniture and accessories manufacturer, he left retail, quickly becoming the top-selling designer for A&B Home. Lisa, his sister, recently re-located to Rhode Island from Scottsdale, Arizona, where she was for many years the lead designer for a luxury custom home developer. Tony saw an opportunity to combine his years of experience along with their enthusiasm for a stylish lifestyle and together they opened AV Home Collection in Newport earlier this year.
With a shared passion for style and design, Lisa and Tony believe that living tastefully is something everyone can achieve and enjoy every day. Details matter. From creating beautiful spaces to setting a great table to enjoy good food and company – even if it’s just a Tuesday night – style becomes an effortless, comfortable lifestyle. Combining Lisa’s modern and sleek approach with Tony’s traditional yet eclectic eye, the result is an alluring, ever-changing collection, adaptable to any design aesthetic and budget. In addition to the new retail location, they have launched their online store just in time for the upcoming holiday season so that they can offer their thoughtfully curated décor to a wider audience.
