The Fort Adams Trust announces that its next free summer concert as part of the “Music at the Fort” series will feature The Ravers on August 15th.
The series takes place outside the walls of the fort and is sponsored by Hogan Associates Realtors. The concert is open to the public to attend from5-8 PM and will continue on every third Thursday of the month through September.
Following The Ravers on August 15th will be Newport’s Ben O’Connor on August 29th to make-up for a prior weather related cancellation.
The series ends September 19th with the performers still to be determined. Parking is free and refreshments are available from Newport Storm Breweries as well as, special cuisine from rotating food trucks that were featured at the food truck event held at the fort May 18th.
The concerts are for all ages and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and beach chairs to sit on the lawn while they enjoy the music and views of Narragansett Bay.
