Preparations are underway for the NACTC & Rogers High School fundraiser, “A Night to Remember”.
We hope you will join us and together, help us meet our $18,000 goal. The popularity and success of the two prior “A Night to Remember” events has led to a larger venue and a larger vision for the help we can provide our students at NACTC and Rogers, so we’re excited to share we’ll be presenting this stylish event in the ballroom of Rosecliff on Friday, March 22.
Dozens of students will showcas their talents from the culinary, cosmetology, graphics, art and music departments in this joint venture with local businesses to raise much-needed funds.
The event has also led to job offers being extended by the participating community partners to the ambitious students. The highlight of the evening will be a fashion show featuring exciting regional designers and unique styles from local shops and boutiques.
The event proceeds will be dedicated to various items for the NACTC disciplines: the cosmetology department ($1,000) for learning tools such as long-haired mannequins; hand tools for carpentry (1-2K); an embossing machine or mug press (2-4K) for graphics; screwdriver and drill sets (1-3K) for automotive; and to culinary (2-4K) for a point of sale system for the Colonial Dining Room.
The efforts will also cover the $4,000 cost of graduation caps and gowns and a gift of $1,000 will go to the senior prom.
