Newport Public Schools is out with a warning and reminder to all parents this afternoon;

“It has come to our attention that individuals are charging families to complete registration paperwork and charging per student fees,” Newport Public Schools wrote in an email on Friday afternoon.

“Please be aware that Newport Public Schools does not charge for school registration, and translation services are provided if needed, at no cost to the families at any times.  No one should be charging families and students to register. This service is free through the Newport Public Schools.”
