Newport is known for its world-class hospitality and service industry. One event coming up during the Newport Wellness Week, an annual celebration of mind, body and spirit featuring a diverse array of events, will focus on individuals in those industries who are so used to serving and taking care of others that they so often forget about themselves.

The Cocktail Guru will host Wellness For Bartenders on Tuesday, January 22nd from 12 pm to 3 pm at Diego’s Newport.

UPDATE – January 22: Since Newport is without heat, this event is postponed to Thursday, January 31st from 12-3 pm. 

The event will have health and wellness experts who will speak to this very topic:

  • Kitty Amann – yoga and body expert (learn tips for activating and relaxing your body)
  • Megan Pogash – Feng Shui expert from Your Feng Shui Guru (tips to improve the flow and calm in your home and place of work)
  • Matt Olivier – Herbal Wellness, from Matt’s Local Pharmacy (natural healing through herbs and such, like CBD)
