Have a blast while you volunteer at Norman Bird Sanctuary’s 44th Annual Harvest Fair on September 29th and 30th.
According to event organizers, you can help with children’s games, crafts, hay rides, pony rides, sack races, the log saw, the Sanctuary Café, and more.
“The Harvest Fair would not be the beloved tradition that it is today without amazing volunteers year after year,” said Natasha Harrison, executive director in a press release, “It’s heartwarming to see the community’s enthusiasm for Norman Bird Sanctuary and the Harvest Fair.”
Volunteers receive community service hours, free admission to the fair, and a volunteer t-shirt.
The proceeds from the Harvest Fair directly support Norman Bird Sanctuary’s mission to preserve and steward 325 acres of wildlife habitat and provide environmental education opportunities to all.
The event will run 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29th and Sunday, September 30th.
Salve Regina University has launched the largest fundraising campaign in the school’s history, Our Mission. Our Moment, with a set goal of $75 million.
