Portsmouth, RI – Registered voters headed to the polls today in Portsmouth to vote on local and statewide races.

There are 781,960 registered voters in Rhode Island as of August 31, according to the Secretary of State. Approximately 145,000 (18%) of those registered voters voted in today’s Statewide Primary.

The results posted are preliminary and subject to certification by the Board of Elections.
