Lila Delman Real Estate announced on Thursday the sale of 116 Old Beach Road in Newport for $1,380,000.

Annie Becker, Broker Associate, represented the buyer.

“116 Old Beach Road was lovingly designed and built to blend into the estate setting of the Kay/Catherine neighborhood of Newport,” commented Annie Becker in a press release. “The terraced garden beds and private outdoor space are exactly what my clients were seeking in moving here from downtown.”

The beautiful custom architect designed Dutch Colonial is sited on .46 acres part of the former Linden Gate Estate that once incorporated lush landscaping by Frederick Law Olmsted. Measuring 2,650 square feet across two levels, the house has four bedrooms, four and one half-baths, two fireplaces, a screened in porch that overlooks a Zen-like rock garden and an attached two-car garage.
