Save The Bay Aquarium

Save The Bay is pleased to announce Corvias as its 2018 Exploration Center and Aquarium Sponsor, underwriting the cost of admission for Save The Bay family members for the year.

The interactive, hands-on marine science center, located at Easton’s  Beach in Newport, is home to more than 40 species from Narragansett Bay and allows guests to get up close and personal with hundreds of critters from local waters. The Center is a key component of Save  The Bay’s education program, welcoming more than 25,000 visitors annually and hosting thousands of schoolchildren in K-12 programs each year.

“Save The Bay is an important organization in our community,” said Corvias founder John  Picerne. “It’s important for Corvias that when we give back, we have a positive, long-term impact on our community. Save The Bay does this while supporting our sustainability and education efforts,” he said.

“Our members are the lifeblood of Save The Bay, and we are so pleased to offer free admission to our Exploration Center and Aquarium to our family members, as a thank you to them,” said Save  The Bay Executive Director Jonathan Stone. “We are grateful to Corvias for their commitment to community and education and making this benefit for our family members possible,” he said.

The Exploration Center and Aquarium is open 10 a.m.–4 p.m. on Fridays, Saturday, and Sundays through Memorial Day, daily during the summer months, and on many public school vacation days during the school year, including later this month, from Dec. 26-30. The Center is located in the rotunda on Easton’s Beach, at 175 Memorial Blvd in Newport, R.I. General admission is $8, and thanks to Corvias, free for Save The Bay members at the family level and above
