Peregrine Group LLC, a real estate development, property management and third-party advisory firm, announced today it has merged with Rustpoint Advisory of East Greenwich, RI. Rustpoint Principal Eric Busch will join Peregrine’s leadership team as partner, bringing 20 plus years of experience to the firm. He and Partner Samuel Bradner will lead the Advisory practice. The combined practice and portfolio will provide clients and partners with enhanced resources and direct access to a broader array of expertise.
Peregrine bought the Newport Yachting Center site, home to the Mooring and Smokehouse Restaurants, a marina, various parking lots and The Bohlin, a wedding and special events venue, in 2014.
Mr. Busch has a proven track record of providing strategic consulting and leadership on projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars, as well as with relatively small scale neighborhood and community-centric economic development efforts. Current Rustpoint clients will continue working with Mr. Busch, and will now have the added expertise, resources and vertical integration of the entire Peregrine team.
“Eric is a natural fit for Peregrine,” said advisory service managing partner Sam Bradner. “He has already partnered with Peregrine on projects such as the $100 million Zion Bible College redevelopment, and has always impressed us with his knowledge and strong work ethic. Our already strong team of industry experts will now be even more robust with the arrival of Eric. We are thrilled to have him join our team.” Mr. Bradner and Mr. Busch have worked together in various capacities and on projects dating back to 2005.
With headquarters in Rumford and recently added offices in Newport and Boston, Peregrine Group is an award winning advisory, development and project management firm, nationally recognized for transformative projects in community development, healthcare and hospitality, including the redevelopment of Rumford Chemical Works, The Ocean House, and several restaurants across the country for Iron Chef Morimoto.
“Peregrine Group is not just about bricks and mortar but the full impact a project will on have the community,” said Eric Busch. “I share their philosophy, and am honored to join an impactful team that is helping to improve the built environment by combining a thoughtful, practical and pragmatic approach to visionary projects.”
