On Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Norman Bird Sanctuary will host the 42nd Annual Harvest Fair. The event will be held at Norman Bird Sanctuary, located at 583 Third Beach Road, Middletown. An autumn ritual for generations of families, this beloved old-fashioned fair offers something for everyone. Volunteers age 14 and up are needed in all areas of the fair, which draws about 13,000 visitors a year. Volunteers can sell tickets, assist with children’s crafts and games or help in The Sanctuary Café.

Volunteering is a great way to build community spirit, satisfy community service hours, and have fun while supporting Norman Bird Sanctuary’s mission to preserve and protect over 300 acres of wildlife habitat and hiking trails.
