When the Miss RI Pageant is held in Newport, for the first time in the competition’s history later this month, three contestants from Newport will take to the stage to compete for the title of Miss Rhode Island America.
The three local contestants are: Miss Aquidneck Island 2016 Jennifer Woods, Miss Newport 2016 Abigail Verille and Miss Newport Harbor Nicolette Peloquin!

The Miss Rhode Island Scholarship Organization will be crowning its new Miss Rhode Island and Miss Rhode Island’s Outstanding Teen in picturesque Newport!

The pageant will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the historic Casino Theater, 10 Freebody Street, Newport, RI on Sunday, May 22.

When ordering, specify if you’d like $65 VIP floor seats or $55 balcony seats, and the number of tickets.

The Miss Rhode Island program is an official preliminary competition of the Miss America Scholarship Organization, which provides millions of dollars in scholarships to young women every year. Winners of the Miss Rhode Island and Miss Rhode Island’s Outstanding Teen pageants will go on to compete for national titles at Miss America and Miss America’s Outstanding Teen!
