Middletown Fire Department responded to a house fire at 671 Green End Avenue shortly after 7pm on Wednesday night.

Crews reported the fire was in the attic of the 1 1/2 story structure. Mutual aid from Portsmouth and Navy also responded to the scene.

According to Zillow, the property is a 3 bed and 3 bath single family home that was built in 1992 and last sold in November 2008 for $450,000.

At this time, no official report or update has been provided by officials regarding cause of the fire and there have been no confirmed reports of any injuries.

There were three structure fires on Aquidneck Island this evening, East Main Road in PortsmouthKay Street in Newport and on Green End Ave in Middletown.
