Christmas week is here, can you believe it? Seems like just yesterday that we were all making the most of the sunshine sessions out on the water and down on the beach.

Monday, December 21st

  • (CIN) New England’s Largest Gingerbread Lighthouse, Saturday-Thursday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Displayed at the Newport Visitor Information Center, America’s Cup Ave. Culinary staff from the Marriot Hotel have constructed the 16 foot masterpiece. Free but visitors are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to fill the sleigh for local Community food pantries.

Tuesday, December 22nd

  • (CIN) New England’s Largest Gingerbread Lighthouse, Saturday-Thursday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Displayed at the Newport Visitor Information Center, America’s Cup Ave. Culinary staff from the Marriot Hotel have constructed the 16 foot masterpiece.   • Skate With Santa, 6pm – 7pm at Newport Skating Center, Ok, it’s back on kids!
    You can skate with the big man himself. When does he have time to skate with Christmas so close, who knows, he’s just that good. Tuesday night! Bring a camera and maybe your list.
  • Screening of ‘Home Alone’, at Jane Pickens Theater. Jane Pickens Theater & Event Center will host a very special 25th Anniversary screening of the 1990 holiday classic Home Alone on Tuesday, December 22nd at 7pm. More Info
