“We are very excited to bring a modern twist to this ancient concept” said Harmony Oschefski, who co-founded The Bodhi Spa with her sister Cedar Hwang (former Boat Captain for 12 Meter Charters and Contributor to Newport Naked).
Harmony and Cedar were inspired to bring the literal translation of the word SPA back to its Latin origin, “Sanitas Per Aquam” meaning “Health Through Water”.
“Hydrotherapy is the art of healing through the application of water in any form; hot, cold, steam or ice. The concept has been used by cultures around the world for thousands of years and now it will be available right here in downtown Newport.”, said Oschefski.
The Bodhi Spa offers day passes, group packages as well as memberships to their Water Journey.
