The Preserve Sporting Club & Resort is renting out its Hobbit House for autumn photo sessions through Nov. 2, with the grounds decorated with pumpkins.
Sessions are available every hour from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. A one-hour slot includes 45 minutes at the Hobbit House and costs $200 for up to four guests, according to the resort. Guests must bring their own photographer; none is provided. A pumpkin can be purchased at the end of the visit for $20.
The Hobbit House, inspired by “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” films, is part of the resort’s Hobbit House Village of tiny homes. The sessions are open to the public as well as to Preserve guests.
The Preserve is at 1 Preserve Blvd., Richmond. Reservations can be made through the resort.
