Michael Lisella’s walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh lifted Middletown past Barrington 10-9 Saturday at Gaudet.

Tied 9-9 entering the seventh, Middletown held Barrington scoreless in the top half before Lisella drove in the winning run, capping a 12-hit afternoon.

Middletown scored once in the first, four times in the second and twice in the third. Barrington answered with two runs in each of the first two innings and three in the third, tying it 7-7 through four. Middletown went up 9-8 in the fifth; Barrington tied it in the sixth.

Five Islanders had two hits: Lisella, Colton Kerrison, Evan Agren, Cameron Carlisle and Kenneth Pirches. Lisella and Agren drove in three runs each.

Kerrison scored three times, walked twice and was named player of the game by head coach Eric Godin. Agren tripled, Kerrison doubled, and Pirches also scored three. Garrett West scored twice; Middletown drew eight walks.

Catcher Dafonseca led Barrington with three hits — two doubles — three runs and three RBIs. Anderson, Montour and Shenberry each drove in a run, and Dolon went 1 for 4 with a run scored.

Noah Travers got the win in relief with 1 2/3 scoreless innings and three strikeouts. Agren started for Middletown; West, Kerrison and Travers followed.

Palmeri took the loss. Dolon started for Barrington, with Palmeri and Cusant in relief.
