The Community College of Rhode Island is partnering with the Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce, the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training, and the city of Newport to sponsor a career fair on Oct. 30 at Innovate Newport.
The free, public event will feature more than 30 employers from a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, education, technology and hospitality. Job seekers of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to attend to explore career opportunities, make professional connections and learn more about the local workforce landscape.
Representatives from participating organizations will be available to discuss open positions, company cultures and potential career pathways. Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes and be prepared for on-site conversations with hiring managers.
The career fair will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Innovate Newport, 513 Broadway.
The event is free and open to all job seekers and employers.
