Free Cybersecurity Summer Camp Offered to Local Students

Students entering grades 7 through 10 are invited to explore the exciting world of cybersecurity at a free, week-long CyberCamp hosted at the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) Newport Campus this summer.

Campers will gain hands-on experience through interactive cybersecurity labs and receive instruction from CCRI professors and industry professionals—no prior knowledge required.

Camp Dates:

  • Session 1: July 21–25, 2025
  • Session 2: July 28–August 1, 2025

    Both sessions run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, in Computer Lab Room 212 at CCRI Newport.

With cybersecurity jobs projected to grow by 33% between 2023 and 2032, this camp is a fun and valuable opportunity to explore future career pathways in one of the fastest-growing industries.
