Meet your new best friend, Richard – this week’s adoptable dog of the week.

Richard is a six-year-old male bloodhound, available for adoption at the Potter League for Animals.

“Can someone say stunning? This model of a pup is looking for a new place to call home. He is a gentle giant some may say- despite his size he walks fantastically on a leash and walks beside you loyally,” Potter League for Animals shares on its website.

“A quick way to make friends with Richard is TREATS. There is almost nothing he loves more than a yummy treat- but be careful, he is so motivated by food he may even break into your kitchen to steal some snacks. Seriously, he is smart and sneaky guy,” Potter League shares.

“Richard has experience living with cats and has done well with them in the past. We do think he will be happiest being the only dog in the home just due to his love for food and attention. He would be happy to have dog friends outside of his home though,” Potter League shares.

If you are interested in Richard, call the Potter League at 401-846-8276 or stop by their Animal Care and Adoption Center here in Middletown to meet with him at any time.
