Newport Mental Health is inviting the community to its annual Rock the Beach fundraising gala, which will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the Newport Beach House.

The event, presented by BedJet/Aramli Foundation, will feature live music, dancing, dinner, auctions, and a chance to connect with others who share a passion for making a positive impact.

“We have so much to celebrate with our friends and supporters,” says Dayna Gladstein, President & CEO of Newport Mental Health in a press release. “With the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) federal designation, new programs, and our move into newly renovated spaces, we are entering a new era. With strong and continued support, we are planning even more innovation and expansion to meet the growing behavioral health care needs of our community.”

Proceeds from the event will go towards Newport Mental Health’s Annual Fund, which supports the delivery of comprehensive behavioral health and substance use services to those living in Newport County. The funds also help reduce the stigma around mental health and ensure that everyone has access to high-quality care, regardless of their income, insurance, or ability to pay.

“At Newport Mental Health, we never want income or insurance to be the reason a person can’t get the help they need when they need it. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, our Annual Fund ensures that no one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. And you’ll never be placed on a waiting list; when you need us, Newport Mental Health is here for you,” says VP of Philanthropy, Susan Piacenti in a press release. “Rock the Beach is an important fundraiser because it also raises awareness, reduces the stigma around mental health, and helps break down barriers to access. The community’s support of our mission is vital so please join us on September 19th!”

Don’t miss this night of celebration, community, and impact. This fundraiser is a critical way to ensure that Newport Mental Health can continue to provide effective and compassionate care to those who need it most.
