The Rhode Island Turnpike & Bridge Authority (RITBA) will close lanes on the Newport Claiborne Pell Bridge, the Gantry at Toll Plaza, and the Route 138 Connector between August 18th and August 24th for construction work.
On Monday, August 19, the Newport Claiborne Pell Bridge’s eastbound left lane will be closed from 9 am to 3 pm.
On Tuesday, August 20, the westbound left lane at the Gantry at Toll Plaza will be closed from 7 am to 1 pm.
On Wednesday, August 21, the eastbound left lane at the Gantry at Toll Plaza will be closed from 9 am to 3 pm.
No lane closures are currently planned for the Jamestown Verrazzano Bridge, the Mount Hope Bridge, or the Sakonnet River Bridge.
