The Newport Gulls (8-5) faced off against the North Shore Navigators (6-5) for the second meeting of the season, Friday, June 21st.
The Navigators took a 1-0 lead before rain forced the game to be delayed in the second inning. Continuous rain in the forecast led to the decision for the game to be suspended.
The game will be resumed on June 29th at North Shore, and will be the first game of a doubleheader. The start time of the game is TBD.
