The International Yacht Restoration School (IYRS) will host a Marine & Composites Industry Career Day on March 18 at the IYRS campus on lower Thames Street in Newport.
The Marine & Composites Industry Career Day is a one-day free event that draws employers who come to this annual event with one goal in mind: to connect with individuals with the skills and aptitude for careers in the marine and composites industries. Career Day runs from 10 am to 1 pm, but two breakout sessions will be held prior to the event, at 9:00 AM on “What Brewer Yacht Yards Look for in a Candidate” and at 9:30 AM on “Navigating Your Job Search.” Career Day is hosted by IYRS, the Rhode Island Marine Trades Association (RIMTA), and Polaris MEP. .
