Robert “Bobby” Arthur Halliday, age 75, of Portsmouth died Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital of Fall River, MA. Robert was born June 23, 1942 in Newport, RI. He is the son of the late Gilbert and the late Alyce (Silvia) Halliday.
Bobby leaves his wife Jane (Alvernes) Halliday; his five children Robert Halliday and his wife Brenda of Swansea, MA; Amanda Ferreira and her husband David of Fall River, MA; James Halliday and his wife Corissa of Fall River, MA; Laura Powell and her husband Byron of FL; Joshua Halliday of Riverside, RI. He also leaves his brothers Gilbert Ronald Halliday of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Arthur Richard Halliday of NC; his sister Mary Halliday Ford of Portsmouth, RI; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Bobby is predeceased by this sister the late Alyce Frances Medeiros of FL.
Calling hours will be Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 3-6 pm at Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
