Middletown beat Tiverton 21-6 on Thursday night behind a ground game that wore down the Tigers and a secondary that took the ball away three times.

Junior Jack Silvia ran for more than 100 yards. Senior quarterback and captain Kyle Keef threw for a touchdown on his only attempt and added a rushing score, and junior Sean Williams ran in another. Sophomore Jack Harris caught a touchdown pass covering about 30 yards.

Senior Vinny Cavalerie had two interceptions along with several tackles, and senior Killian Alexander added a third.

Tiverton moved the ball on the ground and through the air but was held to a single score, a 15-yard touchdown catch by Tyler Riendu late in the game that broke up the shutout.
