Teton Gravity Research will screen its 31st annual ski film, “Actually, It Is Rocket Science,” at the Jane Pickens Theatre on Wednesday, Nov. 11. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the 120-minute film at 7:30.
The film was shot across Bute Inlet in British Columbia, Haines in Alaska, Japan, Finland, Andorra, Montana, Jackson Hole and Jay Peak in Vermont, where the crew followed a strong Eastern winter. The cast includes East Coast skier Keegan Killbride along with Maggie Voisin, Kai Jones, Nick McNutt and others.
Founded in 1995 by brothers Todd and Steve Jones, Teton Gravity Research has produced ski and snowboard films for three decades. The film continues on a North American tour following its Jackson Hole premiere, with athlete appearances and Q&As at select stops.
