The Firehouse Theater will host “Funnies for Felines,” a charity stand-up comedy showcase, on Thursday, Aug. 13, with all ticket proceeds going to Fine Feline Cat Rescue.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. at the theater, 4 Equality Park Place. The lineup features six local stand-up comedians. The event is BYOB, and representatives from the rescue will be on hand with information on other ways to support the organization.
Seating is limited and organizers recommend buying tickets in advance.
Fine Feline Cat Rescue is a nonprofit founded in 2018 that focuses on cats and kittens considered less adoptable, including seniors and animals with special needs.
The Firehouse Theater programs shows year-round, including live improv from The Bit Players every Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.
