Roger Williams Park Zoo will host “Party with Pride,” an after-hours evening celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community, on Saturday, July 11, from 6 to 10 p.m.
The 21-and-over event invites queer adults and their allies to experience the zoo after hours, with a lineup of entertainment featuring Ace DJ Entertainment, Queer-e-oke hosted by Paul Parravano, and drag performances by Lulu Levity, Mi Kabee, Sterlyn Silva, Brae the Fallen, Darren Tashine, Coco LaFreak, Ivy Amore and more.
Guests can also take in “Nature is Queer” animal chats, along with pride-themed animal enrichment activities, and connect with local LGBTQIA+ and allied organizations.
The event is for guests 21 and over only, and no babies, children or strollers are permitted. More information and tickets are available at rwpzoo.org/event/party-with-pride.
Roger Williams Park Zoo is operated and funded by the Rhode Island Zoological Society as a partner of the city of Providence. The zoo is one of many features in historic Roger Williams Park.
