The Jamestown Arts Center will hold its ninth annual Holiday Arts Market next month, featuring work from more than 20 local artists and artisans.

The market runs Friday, Dec. 5, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

Visitors can browse ceramics, prints, paintings, jewelry, glasswork, textiles, books, ornaments and woodworks, with prices ranging from $5 to $700.

“The thrill of finding something unexpected, the perfect piece that feels personal and one-of-a-kind, never fades,” Executive Director Christine Cocca said. “JAC’s Holiday Arts Market makes it easy to connect directly with the artists, which adds a whole layer of meaning to every purchase.”

Participating vendors include Kris Greco Pottery, Onne van der Wal Photography Gallery, Struggle Glass, Hilary Archer Wildlife Artist and Didi Suydam, among others.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a canned good or non-perishable item to benefit the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Newport.

The Jamestown Arts Center is located at 18 Valley St.
