The Aquidneck Food Pantry will host a comedy fundraiser Nov. 1 at VFW Post 5390 to support its mission of feeding community members in need.

The Funny4Funds Comedy Fundraiser will feature stand-up comedy, raffles and opportunities for guests to learn about the pantry’s work. Doors open at 5 p.m., with the show starting at 6 p.m. at 822 Anthony Road.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the food pantry’s location at 81 Sprague Street, through the organization’s Facebook page or from volunteers. Tickets are also available at www.funny4funds.com/events.

The event will include a 50/50 raffle, prize drawings and a “buy it now” table featuring New England Patriots collections, housewares, DVD movie packages, children’s toys, handmade blankets, appliances, electronics, jewelry, fashion items and liquor and wine gift baskets.

Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the pantry. The event will have a cash bar, and guests may bring their own snacks.

Aquidneck Food Pantry volunteers will be on-site to speak with guests about the organization’s services and community outreach efforts.
