The 54th Annual Newport International Boat Show exceeded attendance expectations and delivered strong sales results during its four-day run Sept. 11-14, show organizers announced Wednesday.

Perfect weather conditions contributed to packed docks and land displays at the Newport Yachting Center, where exhibitors reported exceptional sales and positive connections throughout the event.

The show featured 10% more boats on display than in previous years, including power, sail and brokerage vessels, with total exhibition space increasing by 8,000 square feet between land and water displays.

“This year’s show was a tremendous success,” said Lisa Knowles, show director for the Newport International Boat Show. “Thanks to the support of our Newport community, exhibitors, sponsors and partners, the event came together smoothly, and attendees had a fantastic time.”

The Newport for New Products program showcased 18 brand-new boat models and 14 innovative marine products making their 2026 U.S. debut. Eight boats and products were ultimately recognized for standout innovation and customer value.

Andrew Doole, president of U.S. Boat Shows for Informa Markets, said the show featured more than 350 boats in the water, ranging from paddleboards to 90-foot yachts.

“Newport is a destination to bring buyers and sellers and where the dreams of boating begin,” Doole said.

The event also expanded its amenities, continuing the second-year Windward VIP Lounge experience at the Regatta Center and launching a new dockside Regatta bar. Full concession offerings were added throughout the show grounds.

Educational programming drew hundreds of attendees to classroom sessions and specialized hands-on workshops. BoatClass, powered by Freedom Boat Club, provided on-water training to participants alongside programs presented by ASOS and IYRS.

The Newport International Boat Show spans more than 17 acres across six connecting sites in Newport’s historic downtown. According to organizers, the 2022 show generated $26.1 million in economic impact for the local economy.

The 55th Newport International Boat Show is scheduled for Sept. 17-20, 2026. More information is available at newportboatshow.com.
