The Audrain Newport Concours and Motor Week will present “Race Cars Through the Ages,” a free public exhibit featuring historic race cars at the International Tennis Hall of Fame on Oct. 3-4.
The display will showcase 23 race cars spanning more than 100 years of motorsport history, from a 1901 Panhard & Levassor Type B1 to a 1997 Ferrari F310B.

“If you like racing there will be literally something for everybody to enjoy,” said Nic Waller, president of the Audrain Group. “I think you will get a real flavor for everything the Audrain Group is all about.”
Notable vehicles include a 1907 Renault Type AI 35/45 HP, 1921 Duesenberg, 1922 Bentley 3-Liter Short Chassis, 1950 Cunningham “Le Monstre,” 1952 Pegaso Z-102B Lightweight Coupe, 1953 Aston Martin DB3, 1963 Shelby Cooper King Cobra, 1966 Lola T70 and 1972 BRM P160.

The collection also features two 1947 Kurtis Kraft Midget Racers, a 1985 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z formerly owned by Ray Evernham, and several other significant racing vehicles from the early 1900s through the 1990s.
The exhibit is part of the four-day Audrain Newport Concours and Motor Week, which celebrates automotive diversity and elegance through car showcases, seminars and events leading to the Concours d’Elegance finale.
The annual event features multiple classes of meticulously maintained cars that have had significant impact on automotive history.
