A historic 84-acre estate has sold for $4.5 million, marking the second-highest residential sale on record in Tiverton and the highest since August 2024, according to Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty.
The property at 958 Puncateest Neck Road, known as Fogland Farm, was sold by agents Liz Kinnane and Cherry Arnold, who represented both the sellers and buyers in the transaction. The 295-year-old estate features three homes, two horse barns and two additional building sites across rolling farmland adorned with stone walls and orchards.
The main residence, a circa 1730 Georgian Revival home, sits on elevated ground with views of Nonquit Pond, the Sakonnet River and the Atlantic Ocean. The property includes conserved land and is designed for equestrian use, making it attractive to horse enthusiasts.
“Fogland Farm, with its conserved land, historic home and proximity to the ocean, is the crown jewel of Tiverton,” Kinnane said. “Helping the owners pass their very special property on to its next stewards — the 4th owner in three centuries — has been a joy and an honor for me and Cherry.”
The sale data comes from the Multiple Listing Service. Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty, founded in 2013, operates eight offices across southern New England, including locations in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
